March update
I had a really good day today, and that was before I found out that the Veronica Mars Movie Kickstarter Project reached its $2,000,000 goal in under 24 hours. I contributed myself but the shipping stuff is limited to US addresses at the moment *sigh*. With luck they will fix it for non-US residents before the project ends.
Writing progress: 1600 words in the Vegas fic and 2600 in a new H2O fic. I know I'm not supposed to be starting new stories, but I wanted to enter an H2O prompt for the AO3 C6D prompt-meme and couldn't because there is no H2O tag because there is no H2O fic in the archive (not one!). It appears that the only way to generate a canonical tag is to post a fic. So I have spent about thirty hours re-watching H2O, taking notes, transcribing screenshots and researching recent Canadian history and geography so I can write a short fic in order to create a tag so I can write a prompt so someone else can write a fic ... yes, I know this doesn't make sense. It's fandom.
Reading: I'm working my way through several archives, still mostly Professionals, some SGA, Sentinel, and Due South. So much really good fic out there!
WoW: I got my warlock to 90 at last, now levelling the mage. I wish the spirits of harmony weren't soulbound -- my priest needs them more than my warlock does but she's way down the priority list for levelling. I rolled a wee monk and have been running dungeons with a friend who's returned to the game after a few years away - it felt really good to be healing again; I haven't done it at all since the end of Wrath.
Conventions ahoy: Oz Comic-Con in Adelaide this weekend, Supanova Gold Coast next month, Stargate Chicago in August and Armageddon Melbourne in October (Billy is on the guest list for that but of course work may prevent him from attending).
