The weekend in PicSpam
Remember I said a couple posts ago that I was a bad met fan? Well i went to a double header on Thurs, and they lost both games. There was no one in the stadium. There was even no line at Shake Shack! But I was there. and the beer was good So, :P to them.
This weekend I fled the city for the relative peace and quiet of my parents house. Originally I was supposed to do a half century bike ride on Sat, but it was canceled due to damage on the route from the hurricane. So instead mom and I Accomplished Projects.
there was repotting of plants (that I can't believe is still alive a whole year after and I got it. And growing!
There was decorating of the Jumper, with decals theyllek gave me last week.
And making of curtains for teh bro's room (using my mother's sewing machine is like driving a rental car. But she has the necessary table space for the cutting of panels.)
There was also walking on beach, and one quick ducking in the water before putting my beach bag away for the season *sniff*
And tonite there was cooking of lamb chops (sadly from Australia, not Kiwiland)
Now if only I hadn't crashed instead of walking...
