All grown up...still questionable :)

This past Wednesday I went to a job fair for educators to see what I could find in way of a school media specialist.  There are some pretty good prospects.  One as the second librarian in a high school in Hopewell, Virginia, one in a district in South Carolina, and one in a small county system in Dorchester, Maryland.  I interviewed with 2 other places, but I really liked these 3 and think I'm going to send in my applications on Monday (once I get them filled out).  I also found a position posted for a children's librarian at the public library in Chesterfield Township, MI.  I'm going to get that application in Monday as well.  My only worry about that is that they are going to need someone who can start for rthe summer reading program.  Can't hurt to try though.  Now for the grown-up reference...for the job fair I bought a suit!  Yes and real suit; matching pants and jacket, very nice.  I went to the public library after the job fair and was poking around the children's room (the librarian left to go upstairs for a few minutes and she knows me by name, so it was no big deal).  A lady comes in, sees me, and asks where she would find a certain book.  I help her try to find it but it isn't there so I try to give her some other ideas.  She then wants to pay for some books that she found in the used book room, and I have to break it to her that I do not actually work at the library.  She then asks if I'm helping out Jean, the children's librarian, and again I say no, I'm just a geeky library students who likes to check out kid's books (well, not in those words exactly).  Lesson of the day - if you go to the library and are dressed professionally someone's going to assume you work there :)
Here, at last, are the pictures of my suit that I promised.

I call this my Lane Bryant shot b/c on their web page all of the models' heads are chopped off :)

There's the rest of me :)

I couldnt resist taking this shot b/c the timer ones all looked a little funny to me
