Fic Duel!
So since I figured it'd be a shame if I didn't do the last FD before I go away for the summer, somewhat, I pulled these out of a magical hat - aka, I wrote almost all of them in the time period between getting to class and having my exam handed out - and so here they are.
Title: Reincarnation

Rating: G for Gen
Hakuren asks him, once, what the point of reviving Mikage is, when Mikage seems perfectly happy as a dragon. Teito stares at the paper for a moment before putting it away to reply to later. But not that question; Teito doesn’t think he can put into words why it’s just not the same. As much as Burupya is Mikage, Mikage is still gone. They aren’t the same, and Teito will do anything to get Mikage’s existence back.

Pairing: Miharu/Yoite
Miharu is not the sort of person who picks up strays, or lets people close, or cares enough about someone to fall in love.
So why, he wonders, does Yoite change all of this?

Rating: K for Kor (or G for Gen, whichever)
Teito’s the one who sent him away, but now that Mikage isn’t at his side, he’s worried. It’s not, he reminds himself, like he could talk to the bishops about Mikage with said subject standing next to him, and the church is - relatively - safe, but for some reason he has an uneasy feeling that only intensifies as time crawls on.
When he finally finds Mikage again, he’s in the clutches of a Kor, and Teito finds his suspicions are valid.

Fandom: Nabari no Ou
Rating: G for implied Gay. Only that's like, the entirety of NnO, so no surprise there.
Pairing: Raikou/Gau
Gau watches Raikou, takes his eyes way only when his staring becomes out of place. Traces the angles of his body with wide, awed eyes, marveling at the strength held within. He’s never sure why Raikou keeps him, a child of the world outside of Nabari, by his side. But, more than anything, he’s grateful for it, however long it lasts.
He has no illusions about the mortality of his stay with Raikou, either. One day Raikou will tire of him, and all he’ll be left with are memories, carefully filed away.
So he watches when he can, and never notices that maybe, Raikou is watching him as well.
