Summary: Valentine's day. Alone, but together.
It was Valentine’s Day, and, while most people had paired up to give gifts, Dadoji Tomoyo sat alone. Or at least that’s how it appeared to others around her. Her bag rustled, and she smothered a giggle as she opened the bag.
“Sorry, Kero-chan.”
The guardian of the cards shrugged and sighed. “I’m used to it.”
Tomoyo smiled and nodded, shifting the bag so Kero could keep an eye on his mistress, not that Tomoyo wouldn’t let him know if anything happened. They both cared about Sakura immensely, each in their own fashion.
The two shared a sigh and a smile as they watched Syaoran’s quiet and loving acceptance of Sakura’s Valentine’s Day gift, and Tomoyo took a quick picture, thanking the sun for making it unnecessary to use the tell-tale flash.
After a quiet moment, Tomoyo reached into her pocket and pulled out a small package, placing it inside the bag. “Happy Valentine’s Day, Kero-chan.”
Kero looked up at the girl, quiet surprise on his face. Their eyes met, and a moment of understanding was shared. “Thank you, Tomoyo-chan.”
“Any time. Any time.”
