i woke up this morning with my the inside of my face swollen and constricted by the skin and bones that make up my head. i put on some soft music and listened to a few songs hoping that the compressions of sweetness coming into my ears would ease the pain a bit. It really didn't, but at least I felt good enough to get off the futon. In a failed attempt to find some pain medication, I asked Ian to get some breakfast buscuit sandwiches. I hate the fact that fast food breakfast tastes sooooo good after a night of too much alcohol and too little sleep. A fellow corps member from last year sent me an email saying that she no longer eats fast food. I'm thinking about following in her triumph, but considering I eat at the home of the trademarked expression, "I'm lovin' it" about once ever 2 months, I don't think that I have much to worry about.
The computer has been my saving grace today in making me feel accomplished. I finally got my membership to WWOOF, checked out my banking and stock info, wrote emails, and looked at jobs online. Then I gave the McNair's dog, Boomer, a bath. As soon as he got out of the bathroom he shot outside into the rain and probably into the dirt somewhere. I went out into the rain too, but only to test out my new rain jacket. I love it! I hope that it keeps raining so that I don't have to sail this evening. I want to go see a movie at the Idle Hour (this is a movie theatre in Exmore,VA that shows a movie on Fri, Sat, and Sun nights and has been around for 50 years) instead.
