So yesterday I made the short pilgrimage to London (1 hr 50 mins on the train) to go see the epicness that is England v Spain. I was 100% going to support my country, ofc, but the thought of seeing Spain playing in the flesh too was pretty awesome! I didn't expect us to win, but I wanted to see a good match. Well, football wise, today has been a day to forget. Horrendously disappointing result against West Ham today. Had high hopes but West Ham outplayed us for the vast majority of the match. So weekend was mostly uneventful. Got 3 nights good sleep in due to taking 'knock-out' pills. Sort of made up for sleeping barely at all last week 'cause of my coughing fits. Aw man, being back at work today after 2 and a half weeks off was kind of surreal. It was hectic and tiring, but I am glad to be back.
