So just a quick update. I'm still in hospital. I never got transferred at the weekend cause they didn't have any beds available. Instead, on Sunday night, I got a new, bigger drain put in, which was not pleasant. They did it at like midnight, so it was extra horrible. Monday ended up being a day I'd wish to forget. Just want to say the footage from the Japan earthquake/tsunami today completely devastated me. Really the amount of natural diasters recently has been appalling. I feel so awful for all those people involved. You can't even begin to imagine what it's like to be directly affected. But I certainly hit a low point first thing this morning. I woke up at maybe 6am and became immediately aware that the swelling had shifted downwards. I could feel this pressure on my throat. So I'm feeling utterly craptastic right now. My throat literally feels like it's tearing itself apart. It started whilst I was at work and has just got progressively worse.
