Random ranting update thing
It's taken so long for me to get round to updating that I've completey forgotten what I wanted to put in this entry ^^; Guess I'll keep writing and see what happens. Just be prepared for randomness, haha.
I suppose I'll start with the disappointing news I woke up to today. Michael Owen appears to have signed for Newcastle. Now I, as a massive Liverpool fan of many years, was really hoping he would return to us after his year long adventure in Spain, but it looks like his hand was forced in the end. The thing that annoys me the most is that last summer we sold him for 8 million (which was ridiculously low for a player like Michael) and then Newcastle go and pay out 17 million for him from Real Madrid. Real have now made a massive profit at our expense and are probably laughing all the way to the bank. So despite being disappointed that he's not back with us, I'm hellava glad we didn't end up paying more than double than what we sold him for to get him back. What a joke that would have been *glares at Real Madrid people*.
Hmm...next, the Bleach saga, haha. I was waiting ages and ages and ages on Lunar releasing Bleach episode 46 and when there was still no signs of it yesterday morning, I decided to downlaod Bleach-Society's version instead. So I downloaded that and watched it, and it actually wasn't too bad a sub, will definitely go with them again if Lunar give us a repeat performance of slowness. The real annoying thing though, was that just an hour or so after I finished watching it, Lunar had made their release, gah! Totally playing with me, they are. So I downloaded that one just so I could keep all my episodes the same. Damn I'm a glutton for punishment. Oh well, the episode was cool and at this point I shall use the trusty old lj-cut cos of spoilers.
So it was nice to have nearly a complete episode dedicated to Rukia, Renji, Kira, Momo and Shiro. Even nicer that it was set a while back, when they were all training up (or being bratty, in Shiro's case XD) I really, really did love the watermelon scene, as you can see from my new icon. Shiro really was a little brat towards Momo when he was ickle. Sooooooo cute though. Can't believe they're gonna fight next episode. Meepness! Poor Momo, all mis-informed and dangerous (more to herself than Shiro of course, being just a lieutenant compared to his captain status). The fighting against the hollows was cool too. I liked the way Momo was the one who initiated them into staying and helping out, go girl!! Can't wait for the next episode now! *squee*
Next, um...aha! I wrote some of FA last night. Like 4 whole paragraphs! Go me! XDD Well its better than nothing, right? I personally think it was decent writing for once too, quality over quantity, hahaha. I also sketched out a future scene for it too. Tis of Iruka and will probably feature in chapter 4. Tis only lineart so far but meh! I'm sure I'll work out how to finalise it somewhere along the line.
