Happy Birthday Captain Fantastic!!
Urgh!! Omg today was hard. I got like no sleep last night and today at work was so full on. Had absolutely loads of work to do and it tired me out big time (though now I'm back home, I don't feel tired at all. What a surprise ¬_¬). Plus the bloody Mancs had their parade today to show off their much boasted over number 19. Hilariously, though, it pissed it down, and so the attendance in the city centre was pretty poor, haha.
But honestly, being surrounded by Mancs with their scarves, flags and vuvuzelas all day was pretty nauseating. The worst was this group of annoying girls that came in and argued loudly about who was the biggest fan. Their conversation went something like...'I like Vidic best so I'm a bigger fan!!' 'No, I like Nani best so I'm the biggest fan!' I can't even -_-; I just listened in disbelief. No wonder us girls get a bad rep within footie ¬_¬
In other news...
Here I show how truly sad I am. Now I don't indulge much in the way of reality TV but I've always been a fan of Britain's Got Talent, heheh ^^; So I've been following this year's closely as usual and the immediate stand out act for me was one Ronan Parke. His voice and winning smile just won me over just like that.
Then yesterday I found out he's from Poringland, near Norwich and actually goes to school with Bryan Gunn's son. So I decided from then on I was gonna champion him to win. Then he went on and won the first semi-final tonight with this amazing performance. Just blew me away and gave me goosebumps. Really hope he wins! Best in the show by miles, in my opinion.
There is one thing that's realy annoyed me about BGT this year though. The amount of shite acts they put through at the expense of actual talent. Michael the french dancer and Olivia the girl that sang You'll Never Walk Alone opera style to name but two. Plus also possibly the most adorable little boy in the existence of the world ever, Robbie 'Wobbie' Firmin. He should have got through so much, it is just so frustrating, bah.
Oh well...I'll stop now before I make myself look even more sad than I already have, hahaha.
