Was back at work today. The self-service tills have been installed. God, it's like being in Tesco all day. 'Please place item in bagging area' Argh!
Speaking of work, I am pulling a crazy shift tomorrow! 11:30am-10pm. Why life why??? All 'cause we've got a book signing at 12pm. The guy that places Jack Duckworth in Corrie, lol. And apparently the woman that plays Vera Duckworth is coming too and is going to surprise him by shouting at him in character, or something. I don't know, I've never really watched Corrie before. But Granada TV is gonna be there, so I am gonna make sure I look half decent for once at work tomorrow, haha.
And no, I can't go one entry without mentioning Liverpool. So the latest rumour is that Frank Rijkaard has been approached to take over from Hodgson. No idea how much of this to actually believe. I personally want King Kenny back, but Rijkaard is pretty impressive himself. I do feel bad for encouraging talk of replacing Hodgson so soon, but really, 19th place? Enough is enough.
Also, Dan is apparently not gonna make the Napoli match. His injury seems to be okay now but apparently he's ruled himself out 'cause he's sick. Argh! Wonder what's wrong with him? He can't catch a break right now. Poor Danny.
In other other news...
Been trying to find a biker jacket in time for dressing up for the MCR gig but cannot find anything. Why's it so hard? Argh! Plus I was trying to find a ray gun too, but nuuuu. Why can't the album be out already so I could have the replica one that comes with the special edition? So unorganised though. Not really had time to think about any of it, and it's only a few days away. Plus Halloween next week too. So much to think about!
Anyways, I'm gonna go try to write some fic now. Had a -probably- good idea for a Dan/Nando fic, so I'm gonna give it a go.
