Saturday night madness

Oh my god. What a night out last night was. Eventful doesn't even nearly begin to cover it, lol.

So it started out at this restaurant called Beluga for Anna's birthday. There was about 12 of us. It was £20 a head for 3 courses and unlimited wine. Omg did we make full use of it! And it wasn't nasty cheap stuff either, was really nice! I have no idea how much I drank. A whole lot! The food was good too. The best bit was dessert - strawberry and champagne roulade. Soooo good! Also had much fun discussing who the fittest footballers were and having heated debates about which team's better, Liverpool or Man United, lol. We all know the former is, heh.

Then at about 11pm we left and I stumbled down the road to go meet workmates in Garrett. Loads of people were there! I was so wasted already from all the wine that I went in and exuberantly hugged everyone (I think I knew everyone I hugged ^^; ). More alcohol was consumed here and I chatted away happily to people (and maybe agreed to Adam coming round mine tomorrow to watch the footie. Oh dear if he does, will be a real competitve atmosphere considering he's a City fan, lol).

A load of us then moved on to 5th Ave after that. Actually my first ever time in this 'infamous' indie club. It was pretty damned busy considering there's not many students about right now. I don't remember much apart from green drinks and packed dancefloors. Though there was this brilliant moment when they played 'Hey Jude' and everyone was swaying their arms in the air. Brilliant. We decided to leave about 2:30am. This is when all the shit hit the fan, so to speak.

We were stood outside 5th Ave, trying to decide whether we were gonna get food, head home, etc. when this drunk guy starts coming onto Flis. He kept calling her beautiful and trying to tug on her arm. So some of our lads stepped in and tried to get him to back off. I could see where it was all headed at this point but I was still a bit shocked when fists started flying.

I grabbed Sarah and Flis out the way and just let them get on with it. It didn't last very long; bouncers broke it up. But not before Simon got whacked good and proper in the nose. There was blood everywhere. We eventually managed to get one of the bouncers to fetch us some tissue and we got him to grip his nose tight with it. Then much debating went on about taking him to hospital. I think Tom even phoned an ambulance. But eventually Simon, Tom, Neil and I piled into a taxi and took him to A&E.

God we were in there for an hour and Simon still didn't get seen by the doctor. Tom and Neil were still off their faces and I wasn't much better off (though the drying blood on my shoes was very sobering). The boys kept talking really loudly and lewdly and there was some awfully drugged up people in there. So eventually Simon told us to go and, while I feel bad about it now, it was with relief that I left with Neil and Tom at about quarter to 5ish.

We walked for about 20 minutes together. I kept saying I was gonna grab a taxi but I never did and then eventually a bus came by (I know, right, at 5am, lucky!) So I got on the bus and got home, and fell straight into bed. Though I ended up not being able to sleep 'cause I kept thinking I needed to clean the blood off my converse but then couldn't quite get up to do it (oh isn't it fun being drunk? lol).

So yeah, a very very eventful night out, lol. Might have to give a statement to the police. Not sure though 'cause I'm not sure I really remember anything useful.

All that's left to say in this entry, in case I don't get round to making another entry tomorrow:

COME ON MY BOYS TOMORROW NIGHT!! WE BETTER BEAT MAN SHITTY. I KNOW WE CAN! :D
