Hospital appt/shopping day
I survived my MRI scan today! Didn't even really come close to having a panic attack either! Very proud of myself, lol. But it was horrible. Had to keep my eyes shut for most of the 20 minutes I was in there 'cause the enclosed space was freaking me out.
They stapped me onto this floating bed, gave me headphones and then slid me into that nasty machine. I then got told through the headphones to breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, stop breathing (exactly how he phrased it - would have preferred 'hold your breath' -_-; ) Then the machine scanned and made the most atrocious amounts of noise, which served to freak me out more. Plus each time I had to do this I felt like I was gonna burst by the time he let me breathe again, urgh.
Was so glasd when it was done. I got to the hospital at 12:20pm and didn't leave until 2:30pm. The scan took 20 mins, the rest of the time was just waiting. Still, I got a fair amount of HP4 read, lol.
I got the bus into Manchester after that and eventually met up with Carmel for a bit of light shopping. I went with the aim to buy a nice new top to wear when I go out tomorrow night. I came back with this:

We originally went into JD Sports but the sales assistants (3 chavtastic young girls) were really rude. So I ended up going to the Adidas shop instead, which has a much friendlier layout and the sales assistants were much nicer. One guy had a Spain home shirt on and I started chatting away to him about football, and he told me David Silva was meant to do an instore 2 weeks after the WC, but he ended up sending his brother instead. Lol, Silva you weirdo, haha.
But yeah, Liverpool shirt get! This really is marking my return to loving football bigtime again. I've spent over £90 on two footie shirts in the past month and a bit ^^;
Anyways, gonna read another chapter of that brilliant Agger/Nando fic and then go to bed. Got work tomorrow as I swapped it for today's shift 'cause of the hospital appointment. Then tomorrow night I'm going for a meal with friends, followed by a night out with workmates. So busy busy day, lol.
