Kidney update 101
Didn't get round to posting in here last night. Was busy converting my mama to the church of Gaga, haha.
Um...so, the hospital yesterday. The results they've got back so far are...clear. Which in a way is good, but also, what the hell man? Why have I got 50% renal function and yet seemingly nothing wrong with my kidneys? None of it makes any sense! And I am tired of speculating and yo-yoing between hospitals and doctor's surgerys. There's still the other bit of the results to come back, and part of me is hoping something will show up. I just want something to be done about it, damnit!
In the meantime, they're booking me in to go get another ulatrasound scan because of the trouble I've had post biopsy. I'm also getting more bp pills. The doctor said that if I was to consistently have a slightly high blood pressure over 2 years, I'd lose another 2-3% of my renal function. Soooo not good. Damn, there must be something they can do to sort it out! So frustrating! D:
After the hospital we went to this new restaurant down the road from here, called Albert's bar. I had hoisin duck on pizza! How amazing does that sound? It was! And the waiter that served us was pretty nice too, hehe. Then I had chocolate volcano for dessert, lol! Then we braved Trafford Centre. I finally found a pair of 7 and a half Converse! In Footlocker, of all places, lol. Also got a really nice top from Next. It's long and crinkly and fitted and just...nice.
Today was my first day back at work after 2 whole weeks. God I am so knackered now! It was such a damn shock to the system. Still, tomorrow should be easier.
Think I'm gonna go to bed now though, absolutely knackered. Can go to sleep knowing all this election crap is finally wrapping up. Thank fuck for that. Friends can stop bitching at each other because of differings of opinion. Friendship is soooo much more important than politics bollocks.
