Today is good because...
I GOT CONOR'S NEW ALBUM THROUGH THE POST!! :DDDD
OMG I AM SO IN LOVE! IT'S AMAZING! MY MOST FAVOURTIE TRACK AFTER LIKE TWO LISTENS IS...
...ROOSEVELT ROOM!! I DUNNO, IT'S JUST AWESOME! BUT HONESTLY, THE WHOLE ALBUM IS GREAT.
Okay, yeah, it was weird not having Conor sing lead vocals on all the songs, but the other guys are good too (even if they don't have Conor's distinctive, homgtotallyawesomespinechilling voice). I just think it's 16 tracks of pure awesome and I can just tell I will be listening to it over and over and over (at least until June 1st when TBS' new album comes out >.>)
I even made a couple new icons in celebration. They're crappy, of course, but the best I can do with like no spesful icon making programs (I have like the crop and resize tools, man, haha).
In other news...
...today at work I single-handedly thwarted a shoplifter!
Well technically it wasn't that big a deal but um...basically I was at the back of the shop, waiting for the lift, when I saw a rough looking guy with a black eye. He got a Sainsbury's carrier bag out and proceeded to put a DVD in it. He then looked up and saw me watching him (I was giving him my best disapproving, evil eye glare, hah!) and he actually took the DVD out and put it back on the shelf, and then left the shop with his tail between his legs, muwahah! :D
I am just glad he didn't just carry on with his thieving, 'cause I wouldn't have been able to do a thing. We had no security guard in today and I sure as hell don't get paid enough to chase rough looking thugs out of the store, ahaha. But alls well that ends well, haha.
Anyways, I'm working 9:30-6:30 for the rest of the week (yeah, stupid ass hours) so I'm gonna go listen to Conor some more and maybe try and write a little fic before bed :)
