Smeg smeg smeg, ha, never get tired of that
Oh man today at work was haaaard! This due to my waking up this morning with a migraine, and so taking some Co-codamol. I then also took one of my anti-sickness pills for the nausea. Both of these have 'may cause drowsiness' listed in the side-effects. So, naturally, I stumbled through my 8 hour shift today like a zombie. I was not with it at all.
Luckily this was noted and I wasn't given anythng that hard to do. Spent the morning doing odds and sods for Raye, and then the afternoon scanning the kids books to make sure teenage was in teenage and 8+ was in 8+, lol. I also didn't have to go on till at all (well except for when I served Rob with his books).
I also got a Lindt chocolate rabbit from Raye and some flowers from Karen. They spoil me so :D So now I have 2 days off. Should have been 3 but I'm working Monday 'cause there'd be nobody from the book department in at all if I didn't. S'all good though since I'm gonna get paid time and a half, 'cause of doing two bank holidays in a row.
Anyways, work aside (god, I alsways talk about work, its so sad), I just watched Red Dwarf: Back to Earth part 1. To be honest, I can't really comment on it too much until I've seen the other two parts, since it seems very incomplete after just a half hour, and rightly so. It was good to have it back though! And plus, I watched 'Gunmen of the Apocalypse' afterwards, one of my most favourite RD episodes! Really, if they could just show the T-Rex episodes from series 8 (hello cow vindaloo!), my life would be complete, heh.
I'm very upset that there's no new Supernatural this week, and nor next week, I do believe. 2 whole weeks without it? Why do they have to keep doing this to us?? ITV2 will catch up with America at this rate, lolol.
Anyways, I am completely knackered still. Those pills really did a number on me. At least my headache actually seems to have gone, finally. I'm gonna go brush me teeth and get some sleep, I think. Too tired to really do anything else, sadly.
