And Brendon amuses me again...
I just been out and bought this week's Kerrang and um...Brendon amused me yet again, heheh. A direct quote from the Panic backstage article:
'I'm single now. Am I going to pick up any British chicks? I don't have time! I'm a busy man. We've got shows to play, interviews to do... So I don't have time for girls. I have to hang with dudes all the time instead!"
Now 'cause I'm slash minded I acually read that last bit as 'I get to hang with dudes all the time instead!' and so guffled loudly. I realise the real version doesn't really imply anything but ahaha it tickled me. Now I really ought to turn off the 12 year old part of my brain, haha.
So I got some more books out for my dissertaion today and I guess I really ought to make a start on note taking and the like tomorrow, bah :/ That's all I really did today, though despite that I'm absolutely knackered; I blame it on being full of cold and feeling like shite.
Yesterday I went for a walk round Styal with mum and I think the fresh air actually did me some good, despite my cold. Then last night I went for a few drinks with Jak. We started at Trof, where they have an open mic nigh on Tuesdays. The acts were mostly good, especially the first person; a girl with cool hair and a good voice. Then when that finished, we caught a bus into town and went to the Roadhouse. It was okay, though the music they were playing wasn't overly great; bit too electro for my taste. Jak and I had a good chatter though and I didn't get home 'til 2:30 this morning, which is like almost unheard of for me on a Tuesday night, lol. was a good night :)
Tonight I plan on doing some fanfic writing. Not updated either of my stories in quite a while, so I shall try and change that tonight. For now...I'm waiting for dinner 'cause 'm hungry, hee~
