Earthquake, fandom rant and Princess P
So um...the earthquake actually clocked up 5.2 on the richter scale. Britain's biggest since 1984, apparently. Luckily it wasn't too serious, just one man had a chimney fall on him or something, it broke his leg, maybe, which is awful but it could have been worse, y'know. Also, I didn't end up getting much sleep. Even got up for uni over a whole hour early 'cause I couldn't sleep, so I was up before 7am, which is like unheard of, lol. I attended my lecture and seminar (two hours on Sir Douglas Haig, somebody shoot me kthx, lol). Then after a quick cuppa back home, mum and I went out to Styal for a walk, followed by late lunch in the mill restaurant. The fresh air certainly did me good but I felt really sleepy after the food, lol.
Been back home since then. Pissed off that frankxgerard is still in a deleted status. It's not fair that the maintainer has just deleted it as there were a lot of people's fanfiction on there and we've all just lost it. It royally sucks, basically. If it doesn't come back I'm gonna have to accept losing all my fic and all other people's fics I had memed, and well, that is a hard thing for me to contemplate, let alone accept. I'm also thinking about starting a writing journal and not posting fic directly to comms anymore :/ Just really annoyed and also sad about the whole thing really :(
So to end this entry on a happier note, here's a photo of Pumpkin in her new radiator bed. She loves it and has abandoned lying on my bed completely (I dunno whether I'm sad about that or not, at least I have my blankets back to myself now). She's such a faux poser.
Guess all that's left to say is, I'm hungry and hope dinner's ready soon. Also looking forward to more Torchwood tonight :)
