Hot, summer days
When it's 97 degrees outside, it doesn't matter how much you want to go outside, it's not going to happen. At least not in Florida, it's not. In Arizona they may have "dry heat", but 97 in Florida not only feels like 105 but it also feels like the air is present in liquid form. Perhaps the best example would be living in a giant sauna. I love being outside, but at some point you're so miserable it's best to go inside and enjoy the comfort of conditioned air.
So I find myself stuck in the house. I've read everything I own at least twice, which leaves me to find reading material online. As a previous post points out, the search for this reading material takes up 90% of the process.
If anyone sees this and knows where I might find some lovely Bones, Firefly (River/Jayne) or Ironman fiction without having to filter through all the crap that resides on fanfiction.net I would be forever in your debt. Even single recommendations of individual fics would be greatly appreciated.
