Help wanted
A while back I started on a process that I've been thinking about for a long time.
As most people know Marianne is Catholic and over the 11 years we've been together, I've been to a fair few masses and in that time I've seen some wonderful priests and some morons, but slowly I've come to feel that I'd found a place to actually practise my belief in god. Up to now I've always had a bit of problem with organised religion mainly due to the morons aforementioned. However now that we have a home and it turns out that our local priest is one of the good ones, I made the decision to take the next step. So back in the autumn I started looking into the Rite of Christian initiation for adults. Bar one bad session on the commandments where the born again christian speaker likened Yoga to demon worship (I've put him in the moron category) I've enjoyed the classes and intend to get baptised and confirmed at Easter.
This does bring the somewhat interesting situation that Marianne will be by Godmother and that they have to find a white robe big enough to garb me after my "soaking" but it also means I need to find a confirmation name. I've had a few thoughts but want some help here. I Want a saint who I can relate to and is relevant to me and is maybe a bit unusual.
