HAPPY CANADA DAY!

Well, not much to say seeing as it's not even 1pm yet, lol. I surprised myself by waking up at 9am this morning (can't remember the last time I woke up that early naturally), and I'm starting to feel a little restless. You need to find a more constructive form of stress relief. Try cycling, or meditation.

I do enjoy meditation, and swimming is a great stress reliever, but the problem is that when I get that busy at school I don't have time to do those sorts of things. It's possible to eat and study at the same time. Studying and meditating at the same time seems rather contradictory, lol.

Meditation is all about state of mind. Yoga says you have to drop everything, yank your legs up past where they're meant to go, and sit there going 'ohmm' for hours on end. BUT, I find it's all about having something to fixate on. Meditate over your study notes; shut the world out, maybe play music to blot out ambient noise, relax, and fixate on what you're doing.
I tend to do it while cycling, with music at high volume in my ears and directing a bike around, but it gets the same effect.

Doing it outside also helps, possibly find a sunbeam to lay out in.
