Failed cereal polygamy

Aug 03, 2009 03:10

The complexities of buying cereal when it's 2am and Tesco are doing a reshuffle of their aisle layout -- presumably specifically to cause such, really. ( Analysis of same. )

randomness, shopping

Thanks for the heads up about the aisle rebuggeration.

Welcome. It looks as if cakes and rolls (to be followed by bread?) are where cereals used to be, and the cereals are in the former "tea and biscuits" one. They were at the soft drinks when I was in today, so I'm guessing when they're done, nothing'll be where it was.

Oh, and the M&P crisp cereal was totally gone, and customer services distinctly hand-wavey about if and when it'd be back. Ah well, back to the Lidl stuff...

What is the make? sometimes things they do not have in Wilton they do have in town. I'll keep an eye out. Quid pro blackcurrant etc..

I got the vague impression they'd be restocking (or rather, putting the same stock back out again, once it was no longer a case of "computer says no"). But the guy at the service desk didn't say anything very committal, and might just have been humouring me. Thanks for the thought: I'll be sure to keep you posted!
