I stink.

It was warm today, and it was humid today, probably over 80%. My air conditioning was not working. It was blowing, but it was not cold. I was hot. I put in a call to maintenance around 8, then got back to work. I cleared the door half of the living room then vacuumed, washed the walls (have to get that nicotine off), and steamed the carpet. I cleaned the big wall in the kitchen. I cleaned the wall opposite the door in the living room, the hall walls, and the bedroom wall with the door, plus that little alcove the door is in. Once the first half of the living room was dry, I moved everything there again then vacuumed and steamed the other half of the living room. I broke down my metal crate thingy that I use as a dresser and packed the rest of my clothes that I won't need. Also, I vacuumed the blinds and am hoping that's enough to keep the cleaning company from charging for cleaning them. Maybe I should do a wipe down of them because it's $15 per set, I think. Luckily, the maintenance men came around 10 and fixed the air, so that helped with the heat and the sweating.

I laid down for a nap around noon, earlier than usual but needing it. I was reading, naked, and comfortable, when I heard female voices. Now, sometimes voices carry from the hall and sound like they're in the apartment, so I lay there for a moment, then decided to check and make sure I wasn't crazy. I closed the bedroom door and stuck my head out and there was a lady showing my apartment! Great! "Um, I wasn't expecting anyone today, can you give me a minute?" They did, staying near the door, then I got dressed and came out and they looked at the rest of the apartment. Apparently, they'd called Nathan's old phone, which is not hooked up at all. Hopefully they'll call me in the future. For the next 2 days that we're here. :P

After that I really did get a nap.

But now, after doing the second half of the living room and the hall walls and the bedroom walls, I stink. I'll have to shower before I can stand to sleep with myself tonight.
