I lost my green corset. :(
After 2 days of frantically searching for it, I still haven't found it. I looked everywhere but under the kitchen sink and in the refrigerator (though I did search under the bathroom sink). Alas.
We went looking for one today, stopping in at a store called Blue Moon (it has belly dancing stuff, so it was worth a try), then went to a vintage clothing store (Boomerang) recommended by the lady at Blue Moon, then to a lingerie store recommended by one of the men at Boomerang and finally found one. It's not really WoTish or Renaissance-ish, but it's a corset and it fits and it's pretty and I don't have to wear a shirt under it as it provides full coverage. Well, full nipple coverage, at least. Shows plenty of cleavage, though.
I cut out a skirt that I'm going to use for a belly dancing costume. I forgot till yesterday that I have a coin belt for a belly dancing outfit. I just needed a better skirt to go with it other than the pleather one I had for 2 years ago at Con. I'll move the jinglies from the pleather onto the new one, though, so I'll be excellently jingly.
Also bringing: big poofy skirt (wore it at Con last year) and red corsety top, and pirate clothes.
Still to do: sew belly dancing skirt, fix waistband on pirate skirt, finish packing.
