As much as I enjoy never updating, the ability to make a misconstruable quote like Ambuj has forced my hand. Actually, it's not very misconstruable, Natasha meant it just like it sounds... and this was before any of us started drinking...
Anyways, I have stupid classes that are very stupid and no one wants to hear much about that!
So, let's stick to the highlights:
1. My math prof. has the least comprehensible chinese accent I've ever heard and doesn't understand technology (so no microphone). After the first day, the entire class packs the front half of the theatre now.
2. My ELEC prof wears the same clothes every day, (or fresh sets of the same clothes). At our first lab he showed us his home-made soldering-safety video from about 10 years ago, and he was wearing the same thing then too.
3. My programming prof. is a woman (just about the only female teaching that subject in the whole university), and I owe her a muffin.
I have officially met 3 people in my program - Doug, Laura and Wayne. I'm sure there's more hiding out there somewhere...
Last night I introduced a bunch of people to Ouzo (a Greek liquor that tastes like licquorice for the first half-second). Reactions were awesomely negative, a-la "I hate it but want MOAR". The leftovers are in my locker at school now. Yum.
