gondalas and venetian masks

ok so the most exciting thing that has happened since i have been here just happened. i just found out that i am going to venice this weekend...i know, it's amzing. basically it's a last minute trip planned for the photography club (which i am now a part of...along with the italian culture club, the drama club, and fit club...i rule this school hahaha) , and the teacher in charge (who basically acts like our older brother) was only allowed to take five students and three people automatically got to go because they are making a portfolio for university, and then there were four of us left who wanted to go. so he was going to pick names out of a hat, but then one girl couldn't go so he asked miss d'allesandro (the headmistress aka the beesatch of the school) if he could take six and surprisingly she caved. so now i get to spend the weekend riding gondolas and wearing masks. i am sooo incredibly excited. AND anick and alex are both going, and we get to share a room just the three of us. should be a party.

well we had our final soccer game yesterday, and in a very intense game civitanova (loucia's team) beat lanciano vecchia (my team) 2-0. but it was fun while it lasted, and we got second so it's not oo bad. next week we start road hockey...should be interesting becuase we all know how great i am witha hockey stick. after the gfame alex and i did stairs...the centi scalini actually ( it meand teh hundred stairs...but it's actually 107...and believ me you definitely feel all 107 when running up them two at a time) . anyways i realized how much i need to start running again...i stopped for about a week and a half being lazy and even though it doesn't seem like taht long, it really was too long. seriously excrecise keeps me alive...it's so energizing, and i am always so much happier when i excercise...my mom has explained it to me multiple times in many scientific terms that i am completely alien too, but it has something to do with positive enzymes being released or something...who knows, as long as it feels good.  so here are some pictures from the beautiful capital of italy finally....ahh...just marvel at the amazingness

ahh....i love. ciao.
