My Ideal House

I believe that the universe (ie York and OSAP) is conspiring against me. It's been 10 business day and nothing. York is probably most likely going to go on strike on April 12th so there goes my exchange down the drain. Le sigh...so because of this, I decided to dream away and think about my ideal house (my inspiration was watching home reno shows like "Love It or List It" and "Property Brothers" with Michael) and try and look forward to a hopefully awesome ideal, perfect future.

Here goes!

My ideal house would have
- 3 - 4 bedrooms (master bedroom, office, guest rooms)
- The Master bedroom would have an ensuite bathroom with a huuuge bathtub for awesome bubble showers.
- My office would have a crimson/wine colour wall for awesomeness and wall-to-wall bookshelves that touched the ceiling. I would want the furniture to be black.
- Ideally, the two other bedrooms would be for when Kiki and Janny bunny/my family would come to visit. Hardwood floors. Probably minimalist black and white motif.
- The master bedroom would be awesome. King size bed, black-brown furniture, heated floors, ceiling to floor windows.
- 1.5 bathrooms (1 bathroom on the second floor and the other would be a half bathroom on the main floor)
- Finished Basement: it would become my bar/pool/air hockey area. With a badass huge aquarium somewhere...with ceilings high enough/big enough to have a swing set down there...or in the living room. Like the Orangeville house.
- Hardwood floors (probably a dark black-brown)
- Open concept living room, dining room, kitchen. Black and white minimalist modern chic furniture. Ceiling to floor windows
- Kitchen would ideally have a breakfast bar
- Living room would have fancy art, sleek leather furniture
- Mandatory dimmers. Everywhere. Also heated floors.
- Air Conditioning
- Huuuuge backyard with a garden. Roses, vegetables, you name it. It would be beautiful.
- Preferably in the mountains/Caribbean...near the beach or the mountains...
- With either a puppy or a teacup piggy as a pet.

...Le sigh. One can dream, right?

Peace, love and chocolate chip cookie dough!
ME!
