No word yet on the second job. At this point, I don't think I'll get it. *siiiigh* I honestly think this is the longest rut I've been in my whole life. It sucks.
Boss meeting my mom went well. They liked each other and we all hung out over Key Lime Pie (I made it all by myself!) and Peruvian hot chocolate. It was delicious. It was also kind of fun too.
Random: I'm addicted to Lana Del Rey. I'm fascinated by all the controversy surrounding her. Her lyrics and hipster/hippy nature are intriguing. I've been listening to her on repeat.
I caught up to Modern Family. I'm planning on catching up on New Girl...followed by Lost Girl, 2 Broke Girls, and Whitney. I cannot wait to binge on TV during Reading Week.
Dungeons and Dragons was loooooong but fun! I'm a level 2 Eladrin now! Hyacinthe kicks ass.
I've read 5 books in 2 weeks. As in, reading for fun! Thus far I've read:
The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins (amazing!)
Drive byJames Sallis (must re-read but just as good as the film!)
The Lover's Dictionary by David Levithan (sweet, quaint, and thought provoking. Very good!)
I also want to plan to read George R.R. Martin and Anne Rice's new novels. Having the kindle app on my phone is so damn practical and awesome, it's amazing.
The audio book for Boy Meets Boy (also by David Levithan) is AWESOME. I love that book so much. Even reading it now after all these years...it still makes me fluffy.
Speaking of Anne Rice! I get to see her on Monday! Gaaaah! I am so excited.
Also, I challenged Boss to Valentine's Day. I have no idea what he has planned for Tuesday but man I am hella excited. My competitive nature wants me to win so hard. Time will tell ^o^
