A Wealth of Today
Today was an interesting day, at the very least.
No, I'm lying. We finished construction on Pierre, staining is the only thing left. I worked in the machine shop for a few hours. I didn't really do anything else at all. But I spiced up today's events below, if you want to read some good fiction!
So we're getting out of the movie theater, when this cop comes up to us and accosts us. Now, as everyone knows, I'll fight a cop. So, I step forward, elbows up. But then, this van rolls up, tosses this bear out, and takes off! The others book it, of course, leaving me to fight this cop and this bear. I start to panic; how can I dare take on a cop and a bear? I guess I could knock out the bear with my elbows, dismember the cop with the bear, and then take off so it looks like the bear was the sole perpetrator. I get off scott-free, the bear gets 25 to life. So, I hit the bear in the head with my elbow, but I shatter my elbow in a totally Spartan way! The cop comes at me with his billy-club and stuff, but I dodge him and this steak falls out of his pocket.
Then: Wait a minute, I can't outfight them, but I can outwit him. So i grab steak and throw it right on the cop's face. The bear leaps on him and starts mauling him as I run off. Later, Animal Control caught up with it and put it down. Brendan - 2; cop-and-bear - 0. So, yes, I can fight a cop. And a bear. For those of you wondering.
