Football game.
Last night was the first football game. Guard decided to be all dramatic about wearing the uniforms. Apparently they didn't want to. We ended up wearing them (which I wanted to do) and they were all bitter. I hate them and I <3 Kristine and Jenny.
Before we changed Mary and I wanted to steal the ball away from the band people and drive away. Dominick failed us though and could not get the ball. We had the car ready and everything. We were very dissapointed.
While standing outside with Mary, Larissa approached us while she was on the phone. She accomplished making me laugh the hardest I ever have at band. On the phone she told her parent, "How are you going to find me!?! I'm the only black girl outside the damn school!!! *Click*" I was so amused. Then she told us the story of how she was switching seats on the Taconic parkway and they drove away before she got back in the car. She had to run after them for two miles screaming "Can't you see the black girl running after you!?!" It sounds awful but her voice with it is hysterical. I couldn't breathe from laughing so hard at one point.
In the stands I sat behind Mary and Roger with Alyssa. I think she's cute. Muwaha. Apparently "Guard doesn't sit" (According to some of the bitching members) but yeah.... I did.
Our performance was awful. It seems that will be the norm for the rest of the season.
After the performance Kristine talked to the guard about how they hurt a lot of people's feelings with the uniform issue. Kristine wore the overalls as a statement (with my assistance in finding the extra pair) and I don't think certain captains got the message. I still enjoy Kristine. After the "pow wow" was over I went back to sit with Mary and Roger.
After the game we went to the diner. We played the count the amount of "like" being said from the cheerleader table game. It was amusing and at least we sat at the opposite side of the diner from the rest of the band. (Thanks to Roger)
