Some things never change.
Some of us sat around after dance today in the Cafeteria. We helped Missy with her dance which will be starting soon, and talked about past experiences. Lisa and I remembered some combinations from Terri Ogden's and found if funny to demonstrate them.
I was driving Lisa home like usual, and we passed Terri Ogden's Dance school. Lisa noticed she was in there teaching, so we spontaneously turned around, and watched from the inside of my car. It's been four years since I've been there. The routine they were doing was the same we were doing earlier! We laughed for a good few minutes, recognizing all of the moves. Lisa commented that she probably won't be remembered, but I will because I was one of her favorites. When we walked in Terri recognized Lisa Miller first! She then had to ask who I was. As soon as I said "Ashley Kenna!" she remembered, and was like, "Oh my god, you look so different! You look so much like your mother!" We sat around a bit, watched her class (which was worse that I remember), and talked to her in between her teaching. She wants us to come back, and buy tickets to her show (which are now $12!). I think Lisa and I might actually go, it would be fun.
Lisa and I will be forever bonded.
