Weather? Twitter?
Okay, the lack of twitter is because apparently my tweets are no longer on the public timeline. Thus, LoudTwitter can't reach them.
Pooey. I had some scary revelations which seem insignificant and utterly useless now. I mean how can the cast of Scott Pilgrim help me with my design course? Or who voiced Badger Bill in Rupert, David Tennant in Harry Potter (and Doctor Who!), my enormous nerd FAIL, adventures in last.fm and the rediscovery of Bloc Party, Pilate Speed and RealPeople have ANYTHING to do with finals?!
Well, I guess that's just it. It doesn't. And maybe that's why I'm being even less focused than before. Maybe, just maybe, I'm suffering from cabin fever. And here I thought I was immune. Oh, I'm so DEAD WRONG.
CHANGING GEARS:
We had a good six inches (15 cm) of compact snow and ice on the road to our house a few weeks back. Good weather that was just below 10 degrees meant a slow eventual melt of everything. For once, we're snow free. The shovels are back in the shed, the drain pipes are down and I just have to wait for the neighbour's cat to pick at our garbage every week and summer's really here. OH BUT WAIT. There's a snowfall warning for 10-20 cm of snow after a good day of rain. That's right folks, we're getting ice AND snow overnight. Right back where we started. *sigh*
Winter, if you're going to come back, don't half-ass it. I absolutely hate wet, icy, wimpy snow. Come back with solid -10 degree weather and fresh, crisp snow. Even a winter lover like me hates spring snow. None of this wishy-washy spring crap.
