:( :( :(
I just don't know. . . . . . . . . . .

I am really sad. There are many times when I have been talking about school, but..
All I can say, I feel really discouraged. Everyday, I am thinking, about school, or how I am doing in school. When I look at myself, I feel terrible. The reason is because, I really like this IB Program; I'm the book worm ( Read more... )

I felt the same way in 9th grade, and still feel the same now in 12th. But I also realize that I can't compare myself to those around me. If I did, I'd feel even worse! I just try to do what I am capable of, regardless of how well everyone else is doing. My grades aren't the highest at all, and if I wanted to do only school work, they'd be better. I'm guessing IB is similar to our AP, in which case- it's hard and it's s'posed to be. Just think of a good grade you got, be happy for that, and keep a goal in mind each test. Don't overwork yourself because you feel you aren't good enough! If you do, things won't get much better since you will always be looking down. If you are in IB, it's b/c you're above average. One day you'll realize how many people would love to have that intelligence as well. Um. Yeah. As if I made sense. Um. Hard work and determination will pay off as long as you believe yourself, and if you work hard, then don't beat yourself up about a bad grade, you tried! You'll get it next time~ !!

Thank you very much.
I'm sorry if I put you through the trouble of writing this. It's just I feel I am struggling this year. I still haven't adjusted properly. What you had written was very thoughtful. The truth is, I really care about my marks, and when something is that important to you, and you don't succeed in it, at times it does get to you.

You did make sense, and it has made me feel a bit better. I hope one day, though, things will turn out better. I hope you understand.
Thank you very much for your comment though, it means a lot ^____^
Have a nice day, byebye!

I get like that a lot and it is hard to change since I believe that education and whatnot is important (even if I don't act it...). Although it is utterly pointless do your best and figure out where you went wrong so you can get better when the time matters, that is all you can do, not to mention these are chapter tests, they're there to see how much you remembered, the things you don't know you look over it later.

Also negative thoughts aren't allowed, it'll just make you feel bad the next time you have a test or something like that,it is happening to me in English, I'm getting bad grades and it is affecting the way I work but I still have to try and make sure I put more time towards it so I get better grades.

Anyway be positive even though is is very hard sometimes. I think like you sometimes so I know that it doesn't help at all.
