... There is a small ornamental cherry tree in my school yard.
They put it here this week, and it hasn't blossomed yet.

It's in memory of my Philosophy teacher, who died in November: she loved Japan and her favourite poem was an Haiku about cherry blossoms.

I think this needs a bit of an explanation for non-Italian people.
