From the BBC:

Aww Emma ♥ You, me and your eyebrows shall be together for Christmas. Actually ... Richard Griffiths? Eileen Atkins? Very best of all, the writers of Cranford? This looks like it should actually ... be good. I cross my fingers for my childhood.

BBC ALSO SEZ:

GUY OF GISBORNE/MAID MARIAN IS OTP AND YOU KNOW IT. ROBIN WHO NOW?

In order to steal that screencap (from
three_nails), I had to go to a place where there is Robin Hood fanfic. Robin/Much "angst". Guy/Allan NC-17. ... I hope I'm not the only one who suffers from snobbery for fandoms that are not Potter/her own.

I haven't checked my flist in days and I owe everyone comments, but as I was flicking through it all I could see was another flurry of age-related-lockery and my response was something along the lines of OH. NOT. AGAIN. Now I'm just a little befuddled. All of the entries of one of my friends to my flist are hidden behind cuts saying (You are about to view content that may not be appropriate for minors) and because the wording made me lol I thought she was doing it to make a point. Then I realised that it was because my age isn't registered in my profile. Which is kind of annoying.

Eh. It's OK. Though I wish LJ wouldn't use such marketing-bollocks speech. Once content (an entry, journal, or community) has been flagged by several users it will be sent to the Abuse Prevention Team for review. By several, they mean "two", right? :/

Also ...

All logged out users will be required to confirm their age before they can view the content.
Logged in users above 18 will not see any intermediate content level pages.
Logged in users under the age limits (14 for Adult Concepts, 18 for Explicit Adult) will be blocked from viewing flagged content.

So all the thirteen-year-olds have to do is log out?

Heh. This reminds me of that oh-so-cunning Are you over seventeen years old? Please select the correct choice button at Fiction Alley where they cleverly put the 'No' option before the 'Yes'. 'Cause you know that never failed to catch me out when I was thirteen and trying to read the Paradigm of Uncertainty etc at FA.

Only thing I don't get is whether someone can flag you for failing to tag something as "Adult concepts". That's the one that concerns me more and I'd really like to know the answer.

*Logs out of LJ, Inc.*
