[Fic] The Untouched Prologue

Summary: KATTUN is about to become 6 members again. Whether they like it or not.
A/N: I was so sure I can do better with the summary, but alas! I failed miserably! I decided to keep it simple so I wouldn’t be giving too much away. But heeeeeey, im FINALLY back! After 6 long years! I know the fandom is not as active as it once was but I do believe a lot of akame fangirls are still lurking around the corners XDDD Please please, check this out! Prologue
“We’re disbanding..”
Those were the thoughts occupying Kame’s mind as he made his way to Johnny’s office. “That has got to be it. We are disbanding..” The last time he was called upon alone like this was when Junno left the group. With only the three of them left, it’s either someone has decided to quit again or Johnny has finally decided to sever all ties. He finally reached THE door and he took one sharp breath before knocking.
“Come inside.” He barely heard the old man’s frail voice. He took another deep breath. His feelings for this specific place in this building hasn’t changed-never-not since he first set foot here way back his trainee days. It’s suffocating.. always tensed.
“Kamenashi.” Johnny greeted him. “Come, take a sit.” Oh no, this is a long discussion. For the many years he’s worked with this old man, he knew better that if the subject is light and does not require too much discussing, it will be either a phone call or just standing a few steps from the door. But if Johnny asks you to sit down… that’s a whole other story on its own.
“I called you here today to discuss about something. Something that may change the status of your group.” Kame gulped. “As you know, the agency isn’t doing so well. It’s just not the same as before. So Mary and I have come up with a possible solution to this serious drought.”
“Are we disbanding?” Kame couldn’t hold it in anymore. He had to ask. Johnny then let out a laugh. “Oh no, boy, no. It’s the contrary actually. You’re about to become six members again.” To say Kame is shocked would be the understatement of the year.
“Six members? What do you mean? Are you adding in new trainees to our group? You don’t have to do that. I think the group is coming together just fine.” He retaliated. There’s no way he would let this old man do that to his group. No, not them. They’ve worked so hard to keep themselves as it is after all those scandalous years.
“Stupid boy! How can I add trainees to your team when they’re almost half of your age! No, Mary thought better. We’re regrouping the original.” And there’s still something about that last sentence that Kame cannot fully wrap his head around. Original?
“I’ve already spoken with the other three’s agencies. Taguchi has already confirmed, Koki however is still working on clearing out his name after the drug scandal. As for Akanishi, I don’t think he’s heard the news yet but im positive that this will all work out. I just need you to…..” and it’s as if the longer Kame listens to Johnny, the more he finds himself zoning out.
Original? What?
“Obviously your teammates have not heard about this so you’re in charge of telling them. This has to happen the soonest possible time so we can…”
“What the fuck are you talking about?” Never. Never in his many years of being here at the agency has he cursed directly at Johnny. But just this once… just this once he will allow himself to curse at him.
“Excuse me?” the old man is obviously taken aback.
Kame didn’t say anything, just stared back at Johnny’s now annoyed face.
“Kamenashi I don’t think you realize you just cursed at me and you know I can punish you for that. I will…” Kame didn’t let him finish. “Go ahead! Punish me! Because that’s what you’re good at, right?! When something’s not working to your advantage you get rid of them and then you force those left behind to adjust and make it seem like we’re okay! That’s what you did to us! You didn’t protect Koki and obviously never offered him comfort and just right up fired him and with Junno you just werent fair so that’s why he opted to leave! Or God knows what the real reason is! Even he never told us in detail. And Akanishi? You dare consider Akanishi to come back? No. Fuck you. That jerk is never getting inside my circle again. He ruined everything for us.. for me. He is not returning.” This time Kame was standing up. There’s no way this old man is messing up things again after their team had just recently recharged.
“Well Im afraid that’s not for you to decide, Kamenashi. Even Akanishi does not have a say in this. Once his agency tells him about this, he has no choice but to comply. He’s bound to them-as you are to me. And surprisingly enough, I honestly thought you’d be the easy one. That’s the main reason I called you alone. You were supposed to be the bridge.”
“No, Johnny. I will not let you hurt my teammates again. We have been through so much.” Kame says, determined of his stand.
Johnny sighed. “I sincerely thought you’d be the understanding one. I mean, do we not have an agreement that this company needs a serious boost? You know our situation.”
“But it isn’t enough of a reason to come toy with our feelings again. Cancel the agreement or else!” Kame isn’t fazing. He can never put Ueda and Maru in an emotional tangle again.
“Or else what, Kamenashi? I don’t think you’re in a position to…”
“Or I will quit.”

A/N: Okay, so that’s prologue. Nothing much, obviously. I just wanted to show Kame’s resistance on Johnny’s idea of regrouping. Anyways! Happy return to me! Im finally back after almost 6 years of absence in the fandom. I’m scared to write this at first, unsure if it’s already been overly used but but but I pushed through in the end because Akame lol. I hope that this interests you and that you will be following this story. I have two other ideas, maybe a HayaRyu oneshot? Cant say for sure, but im definitely itching on some Akame action. Anyways, let me know what you think! It feels so weird to be writing about this ship again, but definitely brings back a lot of memories! Hope you liked it, guys! Hugs!!
