====*====

It’s been 3 days since Kazuya and Jin settled in their new place. Kazuya didn’t want to admit it, but he’s having a hard time gaining money. He left his job in Tokyo and moved to Nagoya just so he can keep Jin. Now, with no money in his bank account, he’s in desperate state of finding a new job.

“We shouldn’t have left Tokyo, you know.” Jin said, not knowing the real reason behind them moving to the province.

“But I hate my job there, and besides it’s more peaceful here, don’t you think?” Kazuya lied, he loved his job back there. He’s a respectable highschool teacher at one of the finest secondary schools in Tokyo.

“Let me work then. I don’t want you to shoulder up everything.” Jin said.

Kazuya looked at the other man, “You’ve not even fully recovered yet. And don’t worry, I’ll find a job soon. Maybe I should ask Yuichi if he knows of some place I can inquire of tomorrow.”

“Fine, but I’ll work as soon as I think I’m well, alright?” Jin demanded.

“You’ll work as soon as the doctor thinks you’re well.” Kazuya corrected with a small grin and Jin couldn’t argue any further. The latter suggested for them to get to bed as it is getting late. Kazuya complied; he’s had a long day.

They lie next to each other, a gap still in between them. Jin hasn’t fully gotten used to the thought of them being together so whenever Kazuya would try to initiate an act of intimacy, he’d either flinch away or pretend to be doing something. They’ve kissed at least once or twice and both were when Jin wasn’t fully paying attention to Kazuya so he wasn’t able to dodge or move away.

Kazuya was about to close his eyes when he heard Jin speak, “Ne.. Kazu-chan. Can I ask you something?” He looked at the immobile form beside him; Jin’s eyes haven’t changed. It’s been full of confusion, curiosity and doubt and that’s why whenever Kazuya looks into those almond-colored eyes, he’d feel guilty. He’s the reason why those eyes looked confused-so lost.

When Jin heard a hum from the other man, he continued speaking, “Have I always been like this?” Kazuya frowned at the question, he didn’t get it at first until Jin’s eyes darted on his. “You mean, your sexuality?” the younger boy asked. He earned a nod from Jin.

“You were like that when we met, but I heard from your friends that you were straight before.” And then he added, “Why? Are you regretting now?” Kazuya purposely added that question to make his statement seem believable.

Sensing that his questioned annoyed his lover, Jin sat up straight and faced Kazuya. “I-I don’t mean it like that. I…. just want to know more about myself.”

Kazuya sighed and sat up as well. “I know, I’m sorry if I sounded pissed. I shouldn’t have said that.”

Jin shook his head, “I understand. I know it’s also hard for you. Everytime you try to  get close to me, I avoid you and I’m sorry for being like that but everything feels so new to me right now. I don’t even know who to trust.”

“Don’t you trust me?” Kazuya asked.

Jin slowly placed his hand on top of Kazuya’s and held it firm. “I do, I trust you. You’re the only one I trust right now.” And although Kazuya should be feeling happy knowing that, guilt overtook it. Having known that Jin trusts him that much and yet he’s the one creating this big lie, he feels awful. But then again, he wanted this… he started this.

Just then, Jin suddenly leaned forward and gave Kazuya a quick peck on the lips. This action caught the latter off guard. It was the first time Jin initiated something like that.  “I think we should go to sleep, it’s getting late.” And Kazuya could only comply.

“Good Evening, Yamashita-kun.” Came the greeting.

Pi shook the stranger’s hand and said, “You must be Tanaka-kun. My father recommended you. He said you do your job well.”

The man addressed as Tanaka bowed, “I’ve been a long time friend of your father. He took care of me when my parents passed away when I was little and that’s why I owe him big.” The two men sat down.

“Well, I’ll get straight to the point, Tanaka-kun. I need your help.”

“I’m more than willing to work for you, Young Master.” Tanaka bowed again.

Pi smiled then said, “You see, I want you to investigate someone named Hitoshi Maki.”

Tanaka frowned, “The daughter of the CEO of Hitoshi groups?”

“Exactly, she also happens to be my bestfriend’s fiancé. You heard about Akanishi Jin’s accident, right?” Tanaka nodded. “I want you to look up on her background, I’m pretty sure she’s not the girl my bestfriend thinks she is. I have to find out for myself.”

Few weeks had passed and Jin and Kazuya’s relationship is starting to progress. The older man is starting to open up more and that makes Kazuya very happy. He’s also found a new job at a nearby day care center. Yes, it’s totally different from his former job but it’s better than having none, right?

During the past weeks, Jin would try to ask Kazuya about himself; his family and all those important things about him. Every time Kazuya would answer him, there was this big lump on his throat. It’s as if his insides are stopping him from telling one big lie after another.

“How was your day?” Jin beamed as he welcomed Kazuya. “Were the kids too naughty?”

Kazuya smiled and leaned at Jin for a quick kiss-which somehow the latter has gotten used to. “Well, the kids are naturally naughty. They seemed to enjoy today’s class a lot so that made me really happy.” He made his way to the living room and asked, “Have you eaten yet?”

Jin shook his head and replied, “Nope, I was waiting for you.” He rushed to the kitchen while saying, “I’ve cooked, by the way! Let’s go eat!” Kazuya followed him to the kitchen. “Wow, when did you learn how to cook?” he asked as he made his way to the dining table and looked at the tasty-looking dishes Jin has prepared.

“I asked Tat-chan to teach me. Since you’re the one working and all, I might as well do something useful. And by the way, seems like Tat-chan is beginning to like me.” Jin had this silly grin plastered on his face. Kazuya couldn’t help but to laugh softly. The man Jin’s been talking about: Tat-chan has never been fond of Jin before. Tat-chan or Tatsuya Ueda- his real name, has been Kazuya’s bestfriend since their HighSchool days. They went to the same college: Yuhei University- the one owned by the Akanishis. And that’s where Kazuya and Jin met the first time.

“Kazuya! Hurry up! We’re already late!” Tatsuya shouted. They’ll be in serious trouble if they don’t arrive in their classroom in 5 minutes, and to say that it’s on the other building. “Why does this school have to be sooo big?!” He muttered under his breath and looked back at his friend who’s been trying to keep up with him.

‘Wait up Tat-chan! My books are heavy!” And then suddenly Kazuya bumped into someone. He fell on his back and his books were all scattered on the floor. Kazuya picked it all up in a hurry as he heard a man’s voice saying, “Sorry I didn’t see you.” He looked up to see who he bumped into. It was an unfamiliar face. “I hope you’re not hurt.” Said the man.

“I’m okay.” Kazuya replied, still couldn’t take his eyes off the good-looking guy.

“Good then, it seems that you’re late. You better hurry up.”

Kazuya nodded and ran away, leaving the stranger behind. When he finally caught up with Tatsuya, he asked him. “Do you know that guy back there. I haven’t seen him before.”

Tatsuya looked back. “That’s Akanishi Jin, the School President’s son. I heard he’s taking over this school in a few years which I think is absolutely ridiculous.” He said.

“Why do you say so? He seems nice.” Kazuya frowned.

Tatsuya chuckled, “Look at him, he’s so young! If I know, he’s just another douche party guy.” He said bitterly.

“I don’t think so…” Kazuya argued.

Tatsuya rolled his eyes, “whatever. Let’s just get going, we’re seriously late!” and then they stormed off.

“Kazu! Kazuya! Hey, are we eating or not?” Kazuya snapped back to reality hearing Jin call him.

“yeah, sorry.. I.. I was just thinking.”

They conversed happily while eating. Jin washed the dishes while the younger man took a shower. After that, they settled in the living room to relax for a bit. They decided to watch a movie as they sat beside each other. Jin placed his arm around Kazuya’s shoulder and with his other hand, cupped the latter chin and made him look at him. During the past few weeks, Jin grew comfortable of their skinship that he himself would initiate a  hug or a kiss. And to prove that, this time he captured Kazuya’s lips in a kiss. At first it was only long, lingering slow kisses but as seconds pass, Jin would get more aggressive and the next thing they know, they were already out of breath. Jin made Kazuya sit on his lap as they engage in another kissing spree. It was actually the first time they’ve shared such intimacy so Kazuya was really caught off guard. Jin has been trying to adjust all these while.

As their kisses become more feverish, Kazuya pulled away. “Jin.. I think we should stop.” He said, out of breath. The latter frowned. “What’s wrong?” Jin asked.

“I… If we go on any further I might..” Kazuya didn’t have to finish his statement. Jin knew what he wanted to say and he gave out a soft smile. “I know you’ve been trying to hold back from being too close to me Kazu-chan. I’m happy that you didn’t rush me into things I’m not ready to do yet… but… I said we’ll try, remember? And this time, I think I’m ready to give it a shot.” They stared deeply into each other’s eyes. And suddenly, Kazuya realized that the look on Jin’s eyes had changed. It wasn’t of uncertainty anymore. This time, he looked sure.

Jin didn’t wait for Kazuya to answer as he leaned in to capture Kazuya’s lips again. The latter responded eagerly, after all, this is what he wanted. They touched each other, hands busy with removing each other’s clothes. Now they’re only clad in their boxers and the obvious tents were evident. Jin stood up, placed Kazuya’s legs around his waist and carried him into the bedroom. Once there, he laid Kazuya gently on the bed as he hovered above him. Another long kiss and then Jin somehow managed to get them out of the remaining pieces of clothes on their body.

“Kazu.. I’m not really sure on what to do so if I’m hurting you then just tell me to stop, okay?” Jin said, suddenly bothered.

Jin’s fingers worked its way on Kazuya’s lower back, prepping him. When Jin thought he’d done enough, he withdrew his fingers and positioned his manhood on Kazuya’s opening. The younger boy nodded, signaling that he’s ready and seeing this, Jin slowly entered the tight hole, groaning as the heat of the tight hole surrounded his hardness. But then he saw how painful it was for the other man. He knew Kazuya was holding back the yelp he wanted to let out. “Should I stop?” Jin managed to speak, somehow he ran out of breath.

Kazuya shook his head, “No.. I’ll be okay.” He assured his lover. Given that assurance, Jin continued until he was fully inside the younger man. He groaned again, feeling a different sensation. He never imagined that it’d feel this good. “Move, Jin.” He heard the other commanded and he did as told. At first, they were both moving clumsily but as they’ve gotten used to each other, they found a steady rhythm  and now all that escaped their mouths were moans of pleasure.

Not long after the both reached their peak and soon, Jin was lying on top of Kazuya, both breathless. Once he regained his breathing, Jin rolled over to lie on Kazuya’s side. They cuddled for a while until both fell onto deep slumber.

It has been a month since Pi asked Tanaka to work for him. They’ve been keeping in touch as Tanaka has been reporting Maki’s every move to him. One day, Tanaka asked him for a meet-up.

“Did you find anything?” Pi asked.

“ it was hard to look for Hitoshi-san’s records but this is what I’ve gathered so far.” Tanaka presented him with a brown envelope. “I was wondering if you knew about what’s written inside.”

Pi immediately opened the envelope and saw a birth certificate. His eyes widened when he read the content. “Maki is not a real Hitoshi?!”

“According to some sources, the real daughter of the president of Hitoshi groups is already dead. It has been 10 years.” Tanaka supplied more information. “And seeing as how you reacted, you’re not aware of this?”

“I don’t know about this, and I’m pretty sure Jin’s not too. He’d tell me something as important as this.” Pi looked at the other documents.

“Oh and yes, about Akanishi-kun….” With the mention of his bestfriend’s name, Pi looked up at Tanaka. “I found him.”
