He looked out of the window, catching every single view in his eyes as the train passed by, and sped by the streets of Seoul to where he was born.
“You’d be alright, Junsu. You’d be alright.” Jaejoong reassured him, squeezing his little brother’s hand and laid Junsu’s head on his shoulder.
Junsu didn’t reply and kept his gaze on the moving scenery. Busan, to Junsu isn’t that all foreign. Being born in Busan and having moved to Seoul later on in his childhood, he couldn’t quite recollect all of his memories in there. But even so, he could remember his carefree childhood in their old house, his days, where it all seemed to be different from now.
“Your brother-in-law had something arranged for you, Junsu-yah. We hope you’d move there for a while before deciding if you would want to come back.” Jaejoong replied, stroking the back of Junsu’s dainty fingers.
Junsu was somehow taken aback, he jerked off his brother’s shoulder and finally spoke, “Are you…are you leaving me all alone, hyung? But why? I couldn’t…I cannot…Hyung I-”
“No no no, nothing of that sort! You’d be taken care of. Eunhyuk has agreed to let you teach in one of the Kindergartens there and you would be staying in his apartment.” Jaejoong answered, his eyes locked on Junsu’s face as he searched for any obvious sign of distress.
“Eunhyuk?”
“Eunhyuk is a very good friend of Yunho’s. I’ll stay till you’re fine and everything, okay? Besides, if you really couldn’t stay in Busan, I’ll take you back to Seoul. You can come back to hyung anytime, Junsu-yah” Jaejoong reassured Junsu, looking straight into those tears filled eyes.
Junsu could only nod.
It was for the best, to leave all behind.

Yoochun stared at the mindless sitcom that was screening on his TV.
The countless attempts to find Junsu back at Jaejoong’s place was the amount of times he was greeted with a displeased Yunho reassuring Yoochun that he had certainly no business to be there. He didn’t see Jaejoong during the first few visits and when eventually he did, he saw the pregnant Jaejoong behind the tall silhouette of Yunho and calmly asking for Yoochun to go and never to return.
He tried his means and ways, pulling his strings, hiring people to track down every possible shadow of his Junsu and the baby. Yet, there were none to speak of.
It was as though Junsu just, disappeared.
The love of his life and his baby just disappeared from his life, so suddenly, so expectedly, so deserving of him.
He couldn’t sleep.
The bed didn’t carry Junsu’s warmth.
He couldn’t eat.
The meals didn’t taste of Junsu’s skills.
He couldn’t even dress properly for work.
Junsu wasn’t there to match his clothes for him and to fix his tie.
It’d been one fucking month since he last saw Junsu.
He lit up a cigarette, attempting to force his mind away from Junsu. He went to work as usual, he met up with his clients as usual, and he closed the million dollar deal as expected. The women never stopped coming, throwing themselves at his doorstep.
And yes, Yoochun welcomed them still. He had every other woman each night, hoping to fill the loneliness the night brought, to fill that emotional emptiness that Junsu created when he left through the fucking. Just plain hoping to forget about Junsu and that obvious ache he has in his chest whenever he gets reminded of him.
Nonetheless, Yoochun would jump at every single ring of his phone, hoping for it to be news of Junsu’s whereabouts. There had been countless times where he left the woman in bed high and dry as he focused on the other party on the phone as he narrated how he failed to find out where his fiancé was.
*ring ring ring*
“Mr. Park. Am I bothering you at such late hour?”
“No, its okay. Go on.”
“I found possible whereabouts of Mr. Kim.”
“You what? Where-where is he?”
“Busan, Mr. Kim’s in Busan. I’ll send over the details first thing in the morning. Fine with you, Mr. Park?”
“No. No, I’ll come over and get it straight away.”
Come back to me, baby. Come back to where you once belong.

“Getting used to life here, Junsu?” Eunhyuk asked while preparing the tea break for the children in the school.
“I am…and I still hope I am nothing of a burden of any sort to you.” Junsu replied in all earnestness. He was grateful to Eunhyuk for having accepted a person like him, pregnant and in need of emotional support. Financial aids aside, Eunhyuk provided whatever Junsu could ever ask for.
“The children adore you, Junsu. You’ve been a greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat help. Besides, I couldn’t really handle the place given the manpower last time. You really really came at the right time with the right skills. Look how Yoori stopped her wailings every time you hold her?” he replied, assuring Junsu as he emphasized on his words jokingly.
Eunhyuk ran a kindergarten. In fact it was more than just a kindergarten, he ran a small orphanage beside the school, housing all the young lost souls that might seek a little bit of love and shelter that had been denied. Having been here for more than 2 months already, Junsu was content to be helping out in such a place. This place was more than a orphanage to Junsu as he was given shelter, companionship, and the sense of having something useful to do, taking his mind away from the many disbeliefs.
“I love the kids here and thank you, Eunhyuk. Speaking of which, has the financial assistance been approved by the welfare organization yet?” Junsu asked on. He knew about the financial crisis the orphanage was in and despite everything, they were still very much in need of financial assistance. If he could, he would do whatever he had to tide them over. Still, Junsu left home without a single cent while his brother has had enough on his plates with his own pregnancy and Yunho’s business.
“No. But someone was kind enough to donate a lot of money to such a small unknown orphanage.”
“Who?”
“I don’t know, but I remember his first name was-“
“Mr. Kim…” a small soft voice called out to him, tugging Junsu’s shirt. Junsu was immediately greeted by a familiar face with clear bright eyes. Hardly 3 years old, Minwook was a small frail boy who captured Junsu’s heart ever since he arrived.
Eunhyuk smiled knowingly at the boy and Junsu whom he knew shared an unspoken close relationship with. Minwook was abandoned by his mother at the front door of the orphanage not long ago. The boy just stood there in the rain, looking out through the heavy weather for any sign of his mother. He refused to comply even when Eunhyuk tried to convince him to come in to wait.
“Yes, honey?” Junsu squatted down to face the boy. Being 3 months pregnant, Junsu was finally entering the second trimester of his pregnancy and was feeling the bump in his stomach.
The boy couldn’t really speak full sentences but Junsu caught the whole drift of the boy’s words about a man and a letter as he pushed a purple envelope addressed to Junsu, into the man’s open palms.
“Thank you, Minwook.” He smiled, tugging the boy close and he embraced the little being in his arms.
“You’re welcome, Mr. kim.” Minwook replied just the way Junsu taught him to with a babyish voice and joyfully ran away to rejoin his friends.
“Who could have sent you the letter, Junsu? Jaejoong?” Eunhyuk questioned out of curiosity and out of concern. Other than Yunho and Junsu’s brother, who would have known of Junsu’s presence in this small town in Busan?
“I don’t know?” Junsu shrugged. The envelope seemed to hold some weight in it, telling Junsu that there was more than just paper in it.
Could it be Jaejoong who sent him this letter? But Jaejoong hyung didn’t say a word about sending him anything.
“Anyway Junsu, get the kids back inside, will you? Their dessert is almost ready and oh yes! The doctor called to remind you on the next appointment for your baby!” Eunhyuk reminded Junsu, nagging him like how his Jaejoong hyung would have done.
Junsu simply nodded at his friend’s reminder and smiled on his way out, the letter, was left forgotten on the table.
