How long does it take to chase the taste of mayo out of your mouth?

See, for lunch, I ordered a sandwich at Publix. And I hate mayo, so in my order, I asked for no mayo. They repeated it, and sure enough it was right.

Working for food services has made me a whole lot more forgiving to those kinds of mistakes.

Yeah, I know. But it's really weird how they had absolutely everything else right, and when they repeated it back to me, it was perfect. And still I ended up with a ton of mayo.

Was the same person who took your order the one that made the sandwich? If not that might've been where the problem was.

Might've been. My dad's the one who picked it up, and he tends not to check things.
