Change in Plans...........Blaaaah
Well, I got an email from Thuy (girl who's in charge of talking to the students and the head of the master's program I'm currently in) and THEY SENDING ME SOMEWHERE ELSE. Actually, not like that. I have to switch my London cohort with my Vienna cohort, meaning when I'm supposed to be in London (Oct-Dec), I'll be in Vienna. And in the Spring I'll be in London. Technically, it's not a big deal....but I have to change my plane ticket that I bought from London to home in Dec. BOOOO. THis is crappy, cuz it's not gonna be cheap. But at least the program reimbursing me for the difference. But still....:-/ The reason for the change is some housing ordeal that they messed up on their end. Like I think the Vienna campus was all 'YO We got no kids from this time to this time. Helpz!" Whatever. Just blah.
I feel bad for Thuy, though. When I got the email, I called Thuy to figure out what was going on, and she was so upset cuz of the change and the angry emails and phone calls she'll be getting from the rest of the cohort 1 kids. I mean it sucks that this happens, but she herself is not responsible of the change. Blah. Poor girl.
