Oh good grief... apparently Homeland Security
admits internally that they don't actually know if the scanners they're using are safe. They're also ignoring their own employees, who seem to be noticing that the common link between people suddenly getting cancer is that they've been working with the machines.
Also bear in mind that they've disciplined more than a few of their employes for saving pictures taken with the machine and passing them around to their friends... I don't have to worry about that, I think; but some of you ladies out there might want to keep it in mind...
Remember, the only place the US Government buys the hideously expensive machines is from one company, and the former head of Homeland who ordered that they be adopted then retired and took up a mega-salary job at that same company... draw your own conclusions...
As for me, when I fly next August, I'll be opting out. If the pat-down turns into sexual assault, well, we'll just see what happens...
