I will refer to DBSK/Tohoshinki as TVXQ when I talk about them in LJ. TVXQ is the official name used outside of Korea and Japan. Fans are passionated bunch. Their passions help to spread TVXQ love to other fans through the sharing of fan goods, media clips, fancams, etc. Their passions in turn make them too critical of every little things sometimes. The negativity almost killed off my love for TVXQ and also almost made me dislike other groups for no reasons. Initially I was a Kame fan only thanks to his appearance in Gokusen 2. I only decided to follow K-T's music when I watched one of their concerts on computer. I thought "wow they don't sound bad at all live". This time around, I learn to ignore fan's negativity toward their own favourite group. I take rumours for a grain of salt. If I don't do this for my piece of mind - it frustrates my mental health to read too much negativity - K-T's own fandom will kill my love for K-T.
When the news of 3/5 members of TVXQ brought SME to court asking to fix their unfair contracts appeared, I started to follow TVXQ's activities a lot again. Their activities in Korea was temporarily suspended. It feels weird to see not much TVXQ video being uploaded into youtube after the contract news came out. Youtube feels so quiet.
I blame Hwang Bo <3 and Brown Eyed Girls for making me start liking a lot of Kpop songs. I got interested in BEG's Abracadabra when I was looking up Hwang Bo's Arisong. After I kept listenting to Abracadabra, I ended up watching G-Dragon's performance of Heartbreakers too. Jewelry's
Vari2ty's was uninteresting and its dance was weird. But I couldn't get haru haru part out of my head after only listen to the song two times. Somehow or another, I joined the legion of fans who had a crush on
f(x)'s Amber. After I constantly listened to upbeat and catchy song, T-Ara's
Lies is soothing for my ears. Group wise, T-ara's vocal is not as strong as some other groups. But I like Lies and T.T.L. I love the different black and white stage clothes T-Ara wore which they changed every week when they were promoting Lies. Their black and white clothes looked like school uniforms wore by rich edgy students.

I felt chilled when I watched the few minutes of the document. I'm very happy that China fans showed TVXQ they believe the group would stay together during the 10/2/09 Shanghai concert. The miduhyo banners were touching. I found this article interesting.
“They’re Not A Dance Group, They’re An Acapella Group.” It should be obvious but somehow it's not to some people that TVXQ are not just a dance group. Most of their Japanese singles are ballads. TVXQ is not just KPop but JPop. Their Korean songs's styles are different from Japanese songs' styles. The last three years before they lawsuit happened, they live in Japan more than in Korea. Even Yunho says they adapt different mindsets when they are in Korea and Japan. They are DBSK when the plan lands in Korea. Likewise, they are Tohoshinki in Japan when the plan flies them back to Japan. DBSK and Tohoshinki are the same group but also not the same group.
I thought it was sweet that Japanese BigEast sends TVXQ's products to Korean Cassiopeia. It's a nice example of when fandom helps each other.
