wanna dance salsa

I could never ever imagine to myself that I am dancing.
But I always wish I could dance since I was little.
The extra work (okeiko) that my parents let me to do was piano, shodo (caligraphy), sado (tea celemony)...
They wanted me to stay out of any physical activities to avoid me get injured. Karate, Tennis, Ballet were not
my okeiko option.

However, last year, I had a chance to take a dance class.
Midori-chan and I went to Dance studio located at 34th st. to take
a basic salsa mambo class. I don't know which one of us said first. But since she has been
jazz dancing since she was in high school, she was interested in salsa.
We both took the same class for a month. I really enjoyed it. Fortunately, my co-worker, Ayako-san also
dances salsa, so I said to her that I also started recently. On the following week, she took me a
salsa bar at union square. it is called "Link." I took a free lesson there.
I don't have any talent of dance but I realized that I actually like that. Just watching people dancing nice,
I cannot help but think that I could dance like them.
Soon after the first salsa bar experience, Ayako-san took me to her salsa class. Her name is Winsome.
She is a famous salsa dancer in NY. I took her Begginer 1 & 2 class so far. I totally enjoy it.
I like her personalty and way of teaching.

Last night, I went to see her Intermediate class which Ayako is in.
It is less people and everyone is more serious. Hope after this cycle, I want to join the class.
Maybe I should add "salsa" to my favorite list.
