pus filled pain

So I thought I just had the flu. 100/101 degree temperature, slight cough, sore throat, headache, muscle aches, etc. Well, I went to the doctor today because my throat wasn't getting better and I was concerned about my immune system as I keep getting sick. They can't do tests to see if I have a freak genetic disorder until after I'm well.
