Apartment update
My opinion of this apartment keeps going down the tubes. First they want to put a charge on my account that shouldn't be there because the lease wasn't amended for it. Fine I'll just move out once I've found a new place. Easy enough to solve.
The latest is just plain stupid. Last night I finished my shower and went to turn of the faucets like I always do and low and behold...the faucet won't completely shut off. It's not running full bore because I've wrenched it as tightly closed as I can get it. But it's running at a steady stream.
Most apartments would be on that as fast as possible. Not wanting to spend any more money than necessary on the water bill. Mine did nothing. Even though I told them in a maintenance request that it was "dripping constantly", which is as close to a description as I could get it.
Honestly, your tenant writes a request to let you know that the water is running nonstop in their apartment...water that you have to pay for...and your response is to do nothing.
I swear they are complete idiots at this place. The last place I lived had someone out the next day to fix a leaky faucet. This one could apparently care less if their water bill goes up by fifty or sixty dollars because a faucet is running.
I even told them that they could enter the unit to make repairs cause I wasn't going to be there to open the place up for them cause I work for a living.
At least I won't be paying their water bill.
