(286) I've got me a job, yo!
Despite trepidations, I went to talk with my boss and lined up a job over the summer! It'll be after I get back from China, but I'll be starting on June 18th and working less than 40 hours a week until school begins again!
I can save up cash! I'm so excited!
And it was made better that everyone was so nice. I had a good conversation with my boss, too, which doesn't always happen. And I found out that during the month of July, when I'll be here, a lot of people will be out for one reason or another (vacations, those lucky people) and so it'll be a good thing that I'll be there to help out! Yay!
