(278) A Lot Has Happened.

Well, kind of. But I'm too lazy to give a full summary, so here's the short version.

- Spring Break started. YAY.
- Was supposed to present a PP on Uruguayan culture last Friday, but because I was the last one and we ran out of time, I got pushed to Monday. (Damn! I had memorized the whole thing and was really ready to go, too.)
- Philosophy paper is pushed back a WHOLE WEEK. Thank you, professor! Now it's due the Monday we get back.
- Story for Honors Fiction is due March 22. As I don't really like the story I already wrote for class, I'll have to write a new one, or revise the old one, soon. (This is the same story that I got into a bit of trouble about regarding due dates - you see why I don't like it.)
- Beginning of Spring Break, I bought four - FOUR! - bags of Utz chips at Walgreens because they were on sale and I thought it'd be good to have some junk food. As of now, I've near finished three bags and only have a quarter left of the fourth.
- Food for Thought last Wednesday went GREAT. Everyone had a great time, I connected with the professor very well, and learned a lot of science funding (NHI in particular). Perhaps I gave a good enough impression that he might offer me a job. (I've asked. We'll see.)

Uh, I think that's about it! At some point I might write more about the NHI funding thing, as it was extremely interesting. We also talked about genetic engineering and mouse line construction and gene therapy - all good, interesting stuff, which I'll mention, too. Yay for Biology! Much better than the last Food for Thought, which was on the merits of Higher Education and delved into affirmative action.

fun, writing, spring break, food, biology
