I've been studying A/P all day, and it's been pretty exhausting. The only major breaks I've taken were for food and a time in the afternoon to play the piano, working on my FFX songs, of course. They're not going so well, but given more time I'll get better, I'm sure.
My goal for today was to finish half of the lectures/chapters for this exam, and as soon as I've finished with the Hearing/Equilibrium lecture I'll be done. Notably it's much faster when I just listen to the lectures; it's the reading, and taking notes on the reading, that takes so very long. The reading is dry and complicated, and doesn't make as much sense as the powerpoints do, but since a part of the exam will come from the book and not the lecture, I have to do it. Not that I can see which book parts the professor will pull from - there's so much in the lectures already. In what I"ve covered today, the hardest parts are probably the sensory and motor pathways from brain to spine and organ and back again, but just wait until I hit the Endocrine system tomorrow. Oh boy.
Missed two parties today - a wedding reception for one of Cytosis's cousins who got married very recently and Russell's housewarming party. Oh well on both, I guess.
