Life just seems to keep on trolling.
So some things never seem to change, and one is how life continues to troll me. Started to develop a cold towards the end of new years day, woke up the following day feeling a bit crap but was on call so went into work, had it been a regular work day I would have probably called in sick but the extra money that being on call brings in helps immensely. Today I woke up feeling worse so did call in sick, this will hurt financially as Sundays you get paid double time, also I think this is the first time I've called in sick at the weekend. Lastly, I have two days to shake this off as Wednesday is the day of my first swimming lesson. Talking of, I only just noticed I've been booked into the wrong lesson, the one I'm booked in assumes I have some experience, but I'm a total newb. Email has been sent but as yet no response, guess we'll see what happens there.
