I’m having one of the Bonita vanilla petit coronas (= “Señoritas”) for breakfast. I doubt if I could stand it of an evening, but within a couple hours either way of sunrise it’s not bad.

Yesterday at quitting time I felt so poorly that I decided to limit my after-work errands to buying gas (which I really needed to do) and to order my groceries on-line. Ironically, by the time that I got home I felt better.

On the way out to work yesterday I saw a genuinely scary sight: there was an incredibly sharply-defined storm front bearing down from the north, low on the horizon and extremely dark below the clouds. By the time I finally got to the parking deck it was almost directly overhead. Surprisingly, although we got some substantial rain from it, there was neither hail nor stronger than ordinary wind (though I’m sure I saw a funnel cloud).
